The band also has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to fly Nanae Munemasa, a young girl who started a punk band with her brother in response to the intense bullying she received, from Japan to Los Angeles in order to record a single with frontman Mark Foster.
Perks for the crowd-funding campaign include handwritten lyrics, signed Foster the People merchandise and a Skype call with Foster.
Foster the People's last album was 2014's Supermodel.
