Credit: Jeff ForneyAvenged Sevenfold has conquered all three of Billboard's rock album charts with The Stage. The band's seventh studio effort, which was surprise-released on October 28, debuts at number one on the magazine's Top Rock Albums, Alternative Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts.
The Stage is Avenged Sevenfold's fourth album to lead all three rock album charts at the same time, following 2013's Hail to the King, 2010's Nightmare and 2007's Avenged Sevenfold. M. Shadows and company now join Nickelback as the only two acts to achieve that feat four times since 2007, the first year Billboard tracked all three tallies.
On the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, The Stage debuted at number four. The album's title track -- also the lead single -- currently sits in the top 10 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
