Highly Suspect Volunteers to Play Trump Inauguration

Credit: Shervin LainezPresident-elect Donald Trump has said he doesn't want "A-list" performers at his upcoming inauguration, but how about a Grammy-nominated rock band? Highly Suspect has volunteered to take the stage on January 20.

"If you still can't find anyone to play at your inauguration, we'll do it. @realDonaldTrump," the band writes on Twitter.

The members of Highly Suspect are definitely not Trump fans themselves -- they've taken to calling the president-elect "giant manbaby elect" -- so their offer to play the inauguration almost certainly isn't one of support.

In the replies to the band's tweet, fans have suggested that Highly Suspect play their song "Viper Strike," which takes aim at bigots with lyrics like "Oh you're racist? Jeeze that's neat" and "We're all equal except for you, cause you're an a****** with an ugly point of view."

Among the confirmed acts for the inauguration include The Rockettes, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and 16-year-old former America's Got Talent contestant Jackie Evancho.
