Warner Bros. Records Interpol frontman Paul Banks has teamed up with RZA of the seminal rap group Wu-Tang Clan to launch a new project called Banks & Steelz. The first single from the collaboration, "Love & War," is available now on iTunes. You can watch the track's bloody video now at Pitchfork.com.
"For love sometimes we find ourselves at war and the combatants may do anything to win," RZA says of "Love & War." "For me, love is worth fighting for, as long as love is not lost."
"Love & War" will appear on the Banks & Steelz debut album, which will be released later this year. In the meantime, the band has a trio of festival performances lined up: the FYF Festival, Life Is Beautiful and Austin City Limits.
