Jack White to Perform Surprise Acoustic Sets; Will Be “Taking a Break from Performing Live” Afterward

Credit: Jo McCaugheyFollowing his headlining performance at Coachella's second weekend, Jack White will embark on a short acoustic-only tour through the five remaining U.S. states he has yet to play on his world tour in support of his latest solo album, Lazaretto. Each stop won't be announced until the day of the show at 8:00 a.m. local time. The shows will also mark White's first entirely-acoustic full concerts.

While a surprise acoustic Jack White tour is already quite unique, White upped the ante by announcing that after these acoustic shows, he will be "taking a break from performing live for a long period of time."

After the date and time of each show is announced, tickets will go on sale at the venue door starting at noon. Prices will be $3 each -- that's right, three bucks -- and will be limited to one per person.
