Jared Leto's investing efforts have earned him the attention of Vanity Fair. The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman is included in the 2015 edition of the magazine's annual New Establishment list, which ranks "the most important visionaries, investors, and cultural leaders" of the year in two sections: "The Disrupters" and "The Powers that Be." Leto is listed at number 38 in "The Disrupters" section.
"He's one of the savviest tech investors and entrepreneurs around," Aaron Levin, CEO of cloud management company Box, says of Leto. This year, Leto has invested in companies such as Reddit, Uber and Airbnb.
The 2015 New Establishment List marks Leto's first time included in the ranking. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is listed as number-one in "The Disrupters" section. Pop star Taylor Swift tops "The Powers that Be" ranking."
On the music side of things, Leto is still keeping busy with Thirty Seconds to Mars. The band held its inaugural Camp Mars wilderness retreat in August, and they'll continue their international tours with dates in Dubai, Spain and Greece later this month.
