The video, directed by photography duo wiissa, illustrates the track's yearning lyrics in the form of a young couple being in love on a summer's day. You can watch the "Day Go By" video on Vogue.com.

"I wrote this song when I was living in Los Angeles and my boyfriend was stuck freezing in New York -- I really needed my fix of being with him but was miles away," O tells Vogue. "wiissa brings summer loving to everyone who’s braving a cold winter's day."

O released Crush Songs in 2014, even though she had written all of the songs almost 10 years before.

Earlier this week, O was interviewed by Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig for GQ's "The Legacy Project" issue. Among other things, O tells Koenig her opinions on selfies.

"I'm all for celebrating your self-expression, and if you want to do that by selfies, then I'm all for it," she says. "What makes me a little uncomfortable has to do with its ties to a need to be famous."
