Roadrunner RecordsKorn has unleashed a new song called "A Different World," which features guest vocals from Corey Taylor. You can listen to Korn's collaboration with the Slipknot frontman now via Metal Hammer.
As Jonathan Davis explains, the collaboration came about thanks to a fortuitous text message.
"When I was working on this song, Corey texted [producer] Nick [Raskulinecz], and it popped in my head that he would be the perfect person to collaborate on the record," Davis tells Metal Hammer. "I've collaborated with everybody I've cared to collaborate with so far in my career, so it was hard trying to think of someone, but it so happened that Corey texted at the right time."
"We've had a long relationship over the years," Davis adds of Taylor. "He's a good guy and a great singer."
"A Different World" appears on Korn's forthcoming album The Serenity of Suffering, which will be released October 21.
