Lenny Kravitz will be among the performers to honor soul and R&B legend Lionel Richie at the 2016 MusiCares Person of Year gala. The event will be held February 13 in Los Angeles, two days before the 2016 Grammys take place.
Along with Kravitz, Zac Brown, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, pop star Demi Lovato and more will perform at the MusiCares Person of Year ceremony.
The MusiCares Person of the Year award is given to a musician in recognition of their artistic achievements, as well as their philanthropic efforts. Bob Dylan was honored with the award last year in a ceremony that included performances from Jack White, Beck, and Bruce Springsteen with Tom Morello. During the event, Dylan gave an instantly-infamous speech in which he which he criticized other songwriters and defended his oft-maligned voice -- or, as he put it, his "croak."
