Credit: Ben MoonModest Mouse appears to be teasing new music in a cryptic fashion.
According to reports on social media, several fans have received mysterious packages featuring psychedelic puzzle pieces. They've also received a cloth bag with a tag attached that says something called "Poison the Well" will be released on March 29.
That seems to mesh with the fact that Modest Mouse will be releasing a new vinyl single featuring a song called "Poison the Well" for Record Store Day on April 13.
Perhaps we'll also hear some more new Modest Mouse music in time for the band's fall tour with The Black Keys, which kicks off in September.
Modest Mouse's most recent album is 2015's Strangers to Ourselves, which features the singles "Lampshades on Fire" and "The Ground Walks, with Time in a Box."
