Morrissey Talks with Larry King About Cancer Diagnosis, Airport Groping Allegations, 2016 Election

In the interview, the former Smiths frontman discussed his cancer diagnosis, which he revealed last year, his alleged sexual assault by airport security, and his thoughts on the 2016 presidential candidates.

Of his cancer diagnosis, Morrissey says that he Barrett's cancer in his esophagus. He previously told Spanish newspaper El Mundo doctors have "scraped cancerous tissues on four occasions." Morrissey says that he's taken medication and that he's "OK," adding that he his health is "blooming" now.

Regarding his sexual assault allegations, which he wrote about on True-to-You.net, Morrissey stands by his claims, saying that a TSA officer at the San Fransisco airport "went straight for my private bits and put his finger down my rear cleavage." In a statement to Rolling Stone, a TSA spokesperson denied any wrongdoing on behalf of the security officer.

In talking about the 2016 presidential election, Morrissey says that the Republican lineup of candidates is "ludicrous" and that they all "look exactly the same." He also criticized President Obama, saying, "I don't think with places like Ferguson and so on that he's really helped his own people."
