Mumford & Sons Unveil New Song, “The Wolf”

Image Courtesy of Big Hassle Mumford & Sons have released a second track from their forthcoming album, Wilder Mind. The new song, entitled "The Wolf," continues the new, electric, banjo-less sound the band established with Wilder Mind's lead single, "Believe." You can listen to "The Wolf" now on YouTube.

"We didn't say: 'No acoustic instruments.' But I think all of us had this desire to shake it up," Mumford & Sons stated when Wilder Mind was first announced. "The songwriting hasn't changed drastically; it was led more by a desire to not do the same thing again."

Fans appeared to be welcoming Mumford & Sons' new sound, as "Believe" recently hit number one on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart.

Mumford & Sons, who just played two intimate shows in New York City, will cap off an eventful week with appearance on Saturday Night Live on April 11.

Wilder Mind will be released on May 4.
