Credit: Danny ClinchMuse's Drones World Tour is officially coming to the United States. The band has announced the first batch of dates in the U.S. for the tour, kicking off December 13 in Portland, Oregon. The U.S. leg also includes stops in Oakland and San Diego before concluding December 18 in Los Angeles. Tickets will go on sale September 25 at Muse.mu.
Muse will be supporting their latest album, Drones, with an ambitious stage show that, according to the band's tour production designer Oli Metcalfe, will features a "swarm of drones." During the tour, Muse will also be playing "in the round" for the first time, meaning that the stage will be located in the middle of the arena.
Phantogram will support on the four announced U.S. dates. More shows in other U.S. markets will be announced shortly. The Drones World Tour so far also includes stops in Asia, South America and Europe.
