Nevermen, Featuring Members of Faith No More & TV on the Radio, Releases First Single, “Tough Towns”

Credit: Peter HinsonNevermen, the long-gestating project featuring Faith No More's Mike Patton and TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, plus rapper Adam "Doseone" Drucker, has released their first single, called "Tough Towns." The track is an eerie, synth-heavy tune, which makes sense given Faith No More and TV on the Radio's avant-garde leanings. You can check it out now at RollingStone.com.

"'Tough Towns' is dedicated to anyone remotely young, feeling inexplicably inspired in the 'nowhere' they are from," Drucker tells Rolling Stone. "May you soon escape with style into elsewhere."

Nevermen, which has been in the works since 2008, will finally release their self-titled debut, featuring "Tough Towns," in October.

In the meantime, Patton and Faith No More are currently in the home stretch of their first North American tour in five years in support of their album Sol Invictus, the band's first album in 18 years. TV on the Radio will kick off their European tour behind their latest album, Seeds, later this month.
