Pete Yorn Announces New Album, “ArrangingTime”; Hear First Single Now

Credit: Beth KaltmanPete Yorn is back with his first new album since 2010. The singer-songwriter has announced ArrangingTime, his sixth studio album, which will be released in the spring of next year. You can listen to the first single from ArrangingTime, called "Summer Was a Day," now on YouTube.

For ArrangingTime, Yorn worked with R. Walt Vincent, who produced his 2001 debut, musicforthemorningafter. It's probably not a coincidence, then, that ArrangingTime is Yorn's first album to use the multiple-words-no-spaces style for its title since musicforthemorningafter.

"After branching out creatively for a few projects, I felt I had come full circle and once again found myself really excited to work in my original style of creating and recording," Yorn says in a statement.

Yorn's last album was his 2010's self-titled release, which followed his 2009 collaboration with actress Scarlett Johansson, Break Up. In 2013, Yorn's band The Olms released their self-titled debut album.
