Credit: Ali Goldstein/Netflix Not only is Phoenix making a cameo appearance on A Very Murray Christmas, but the band has also recorded a single with Bill Murray, called "Alone on Christmas Day." On Twitter, Phoenix has shared a 15-second clip of the song, which was originally a 1970's Beach Boys outtake.
Phoenix and Murray's take on "Alone on Christmas Day" will be released as a seven-inch single and digitally on December 4. All profits from the single will be donated to UNICEF.
