Report: Morrissey to Tour the US

Image Courtesy of Harvest/CapitolMorrissey will once again try out a North American tour. According to the Morrissey fan site True-to-You.net, the enigmatic former frontman of The Smiths will begin the trek on June 11 in New Orleans. The tour will conclude July 25 in San Jose, California.

The tour also includes a stop at Madison Square Garden on June 27, which will be opened by Blondie. Amanda Palmer will open on the tour's closing night in San Jose.

Morrissey himself has yet to officially confirm the tour, though he did post the ticket info for the trek's Salt Lake City show on his Facebook page.

Moz's past two North American tours were cut short due to an array of health issues. On his 2014 tour, he suffered a respiratory infection, which he reportedly blamed on a cold he caught from tour's opener, Kristeen Young. A bleeding ulcer and a bout with pneumonia cancelled Morrissey's 2013 tour.
