Members of Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine and The Smashing Pumpkins are joining forces for charity. Roger Waters is hosting Music Heals, a benefit concert featuring special appearances by Tom Morello and Billy Corgan.
Music Heals will benefit MusiCorps, a music rehabilitation program that supports injured servicemen and women and their families. The concert will also feature the MusiCorps Band, featuring service members who have learned, or re-learned, to play instruments through the charity.
Corgan will also be supporting service members this summer with Easter Seals Dixon Center through the "New Beginnings: Reaching America's Vets" campaign. He is dedicating his summer tour with Marilyn Manson, which kicks off July 7 in Concord, California, to America's veterans and military families.
Music Heals will be held on October 16 at DAR in Washington, D.C. Tickets will go on sale June 26 at 10 a.m. ET via LiveNation.com.
