So Let It Be Done: James Hetfield Biography Due in April

ABC/Randy HolmesThe story of James Hetfield's life will be told in So Let It Be Written, a biography about the Metallica frontman. The book, which was written by author Mark Eglinton, is due out in April via publisher Lesser Gods.

According to its official description, So Let It Be Written uses "exclusive, firsthand interviews -- with prominent rock stars and key figures in Hetfield's life -- to construct the definitive account of Hetfield." Testament frontman Chuck Billy provides the book's foreword.

"Hopefully this book will rekindle certain special memories about one of metal's most charismatic and important individuals," says Billy in a statement.

Hetfield is currently on tour with Metallica in support of the band's new album Hardwired...to Self-Destruct.
