Credit: Matt SavilleTame Impala has officially announced the release of their third album. The new record will be called Currents, and is the followup to their Grammy-nominated 2012 album, Lonerism.
Along with the album announcement, Tame Impala also revealed a soulful new single, entitled "'Cause I'm a Man." You can listen to it now on YouTube.
The release date for Currents has yet to be revealed.
Tame Impala will be touring in support of Currents beginning April 8 in Pomona, California.
Lonerism earned Tame Impala their first Grammy nomination. The album was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album, but it lost out to Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City.
