Temple of the Dog Premieres Remastered “Hunger Strike”

ABC/Randy HolmesTemple of the Dog has shared a remastered version of its signature song "Hunger Strike," which will appear on the forthcoming reissue of the band's one and only album. The Temple of the Dog reissue will include the original album remastered, plus various demos, outtakes and alternate mixes. It'll be available on CD, vinyl and digitally, and as a special "super deluxe" edition, which will also feature a DVD with live performances and music videos, plus a Blu-ray audio disc. The reissue will be released on all formats September 30.

This fall, Temple of the Dog will embark on their first-ever tour. All five of the band's original members -- Cornell, Matt Cameron, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready -- will unite for the trek, which begins November 4 in Philadelphia.

In other grunge band happenings, Soundgarden has posted a Facebook photo of themselves working on new material. The caption for the photo reads, "Soundgarden writing session, Seattle, September 2016."

Soundgarden's last album was 2012's King Animal.
