Earlier this month, The 1975 deactivated their social media accounts. Before the social media blackout, the band posted a comic strip featuring cryptic quotes like, "the hardest part of any relationship is to say 'goodbye,'" which fueled rumors that the English band had broken up. Twenty-four hours later, The 1975 returned to social media with promises of new music and tour dates.
The 1975 released their self-titled debut album in 2013.
