The Killers Reveal Release Date for “Sam’s Town” Reissue

ABC/Randy HolmesThe Killers have revealed the date you'll be able to feel like when you were young, again. The band's 10th anniversary reissue of their 2006 album, Sam's Town, will be released October 7.

The Sam's Town reissue, which will be limited to just 5,016 copies, features the remastered album on two LPs, plus two previously unreleased bonus tracks: a demo of "Peace of Mind," and "Read My Mind (Pet Shop Boys Stars are Blazing Mix)."

Along with the reissue, The Killers will be celebrating the Sam's Town 10th anniversary with the Sam's Town Decennial Extravaganza, held September 30 and October 1 at the Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas. The event will feature performances by The Killers on both nights, plus an "expert-led" tour of Sin City that will take you through "iconic spots in the band's musical history...and early locations that shaped each member."

"The closest thing I can get to the fountain of youth is playing Sam's Town at Sam's Town," says drummer Ronnie Vannucci.

The Killers are currently working on their fifth studio album.
