The Lumineers raise $600K with Colorado Gives Back livestream

ABC/Lorenzo BevilaquaThe Lumineers raised over $600,000 for COVID-19 relief through their Colorado Gives Back livestream last week.

Proceeds from the online event were donated to the Recording Academy's MusiCares charity, as well as the Colorado Restaurant Association. All money raised for MusiCares was also matched dollar-for-dollar by Spotify's COVID-19 Music Relief Project.

"Proud to call Colorado my home for the last 10 years, and so grateful to every person who tuned in and donated," says frontman Wesley Schultz. "Thank you to all the Colorado-based musicians, athletes, [politicians], and chefs who took part in this fundraiser and special thanks to Spotify and MusiCares. With your help we came together to see that Colorado Gives Back."  

Along with a performance from The Lumineers, Colorado Gives Back also featured Nathaniel Rateliff,OneRepublic and Jewel, as well as NFL legend Peyton Manning and former Colorado governor John Hickenlooper.
