ABC/Randy HolmesThe Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi has launched a new band called CRX. The group hasn't released any music so far, but they'll be posting updates to their website, CRXMusic.com.
Valensi is hardly the first member of The Strokes to start a side project: frontman Julian Casablancas and guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. both have solo careers, while bassist Nikolai Fraiture and drummer Fabrizio Moretti have formed their own bands, as well.
Earlier this year, The Strokes released a new EP called Future Present Past.
