Credit: Johnny BuzzerioTom DeLonge will continue to explore the subject of UFOs in his new book, Sekret Machines: GODS. According to a press release, the non-fiction work will "tak[e] readers on an eye-opening investigative journey to the heart of the UFO phenomenon." Sekret Machines: GODS will hit bookshelves March 7.

The former Blink-182 guitarist co-wrote Sekret Machines: GODS with author Peter Levenda, who's known for writing about occult history. Scientist and author Dr. Jacques Vallee provides the foreword to the book.

In a statement, Vallee calls Sekret Machines: GODS a "bold re-examination of the meaning and nature of unexplained aerial phenomena."

Sekret Machines: GODS is the second book in DeLonge's Sekret Machines series, following last year's fiction novel Chasing Shadows. He plans to follow up GODS with two more "investigative" books, Sekret Machines: Man and Sekret Machines: War.

Last week, it was announced that DeLonge would be directing his first feature film. The movie is based on his Strange Times franchise, and will follow a group of San Diego skateboarders who encounter a hotbed of paranormal activity in their town.
