Vance Joy releases new song “You” with Marshmello & Benny Blanco

Matt Jelonek/WireImageVance Joy has been relatively quiet over the past couple years, but the "Riptide" singer has returned with a new song in collaboration with producers Marshmello and Benny Blanco.

The track, which is called "You," is a sweet, electronic-tinged folk tune that blends the sounds of all three parties involved. It's accompanied by an adorable Claymation-style video. which you can watch now on YouTube, in which the trio makes friends with a misunderstood monster.

"When a new song comes out it gives me that feeling of when you're a kid and you're excited for your birthday," Vance says. "Hope you like it."

"You" gives Marshmello another collaborator from the alternative world, following his massive hit "Happier" with Bastille, and the single "Here with Me." with CHVRCHES.

Vance Joy's most recent album is his 2018 sophomore effort Nation of Two, which features the singles "Lay It on Me" and "Saturday Sun."
