Credit: Austin NelsonWilco is going unplugged. At their annual Solid Sound Festival this June, Jeff Tweedy and company will perform their first ever full acoustic set. While on their last tour they would play a full electric set followed by an acoustic encore, Wilco plans on doing a full unplugged set followed by an electric encore at Solid Sound.
The acoustic show will take place the Friday of Solid Sound, while Wilco's Saturday set will be a traditional electric show with an unplugged encore. Solid Sound takes place June 26-28 at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, Massachusetts.
In other Wilco news, the band is releasing an archival poster book featuring concert posters from the last ten years. Called Beyond the Fleeting Moment: Wilco Concert Posters 2004-2014, the book will be available for purchase at Solid Sound on June 26. For those who can't make it to the festival, Beyond the Fleeting Moment is also available for pre-order via Wilco's web store.
