Image Courtesy of Johnny BuzzerioHaving just released The Dream Walker album, Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge has turned his attention to the next phase of his ambitious The Dream Walker project. In a Facebook post, DeLonge shared an excerpt from the upcoming The Dream Walker novel, which he co-wrote with New York Times best-selling author Suzanne Young.
The five-paragraph excerpt details a showdown between protagonist Poet Anderson, the eponymous "dream walker," and an otherworldly monster on a subway platform.
"It was huge, nearly too big to fit in the train car, with plates and scales, double rows of shark-like teeth, pointed and ready to tear into him," reads one passage.
The caption promises the novel will be released in the spring/summer of 2015. AVA released an animated short film, entitled Poet Anderson: The Dream Walker, earlier this month along with the album. A live action feature film and a comic book series also are due in 2015.
