Actress Evan Rachel Wood stars in the clip, which also features supernatural activity and a very important pink ribbon, which appears to be a reference to the short story "Young Goodman Brown" by 19th century writer Nathaniel Hawthorne. "Can't Deny My Love" is the first single from Flowers' forthcoming sophomore solo effort, The Desired Effect, which will be released on May 19. Flowers released his solo debut, Flamingo, in 2010.
In support of The Desired Effect, Flowers has been trickling out tour dates, including two shows in California in April. He will also be touring the U.K. in May.
