Parlophone/AtlanticOne year after its release, Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams has been certified platinum by the RIAA. Every one of the band's seven studio albums has now earned a platinum certification for sales of over a million copies.
Released December 4, 2015, A Head Full of Dreams features the singles "Adventure of a Lifetime," "Hymn for the Weekend" and "Up&Up." The video for "Up&Up" is nominated for Best Music Video at the 2017 Grammys.
Coldplay supported A Head Full of Dreams with a North American stadium tour over the summer, and they'll return for another outing in 2017.
In other Coldplay news, the band won British Artist of the Year at Monday night's BBC Music Awards.
