Collective Soul Reveals Release Date for New Album, “See What You Started by Continuing”

Vanguard Records Collective Soul's new album now has a release date. See What You Started by Continuing, the band's ninth record, will be released on October 2.

See What You Started by Continuing comes six years after Collective Soul's last album, 2009's self-titled record, also known as Rabbit. The new album's title comes from a year-long break that the band took after 19 years of consistent touring.

"During that year, we had time to reflect and be proud of what we had accomplished over the years," says frontman Ed Roland in a statement. "When we came back together, we were rested and more confident than we had ever been in our careers. We never thought of this as a second chance, but more of a second breath. We wanted to continue doing what we had always done and that was to make guitar driven music."

You can download "This," the first single from See What You Started by Continuing, at CollectiveSoul.com.

In support of See What You Started by Continuing, Collective Soul will embark on their 21st Birthday tour, the details of which will be revealed soon.
