Credit: Bobby TongsCorey Taylor has been tapped to perform at the 2015 Alternative Press Music Awards, which will be held this July. The Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman joins a lineup of performers that already includes Weezer, Panic! at the Disco, Halestorm, Black Veil Brides and Motionless in White.
Along with performing, Taylor's band Slipknot is nominated for the Artist of the Year award. Slipknot's competition in the category includes Weezer, Motionless in White, Black Veil Brides, Against Me!, Crown the Empire, Issues, Of Mice & Men, New Found Glory and Taking Back Sunday.
If you can't catch his performance at the awards event, Taylor will also be touring solo in support of his new book, You're Making Me Hate You, which will be released on July 7. The solo trek kicks off July 6 in Ridgewood, New Jersey and runs through July 19 in Los Angeles.
