Dave Grohl Reflects on Reconciliation with Courtney Love

Image Courtesy of Cliff Lipson/CBSDave Grohl and Courtney Love have had a bumpy relationship.  The former Nirvana drummer and current Foo Fighters frontman infamously feuded with the widow of Kurt Cobain over the legal fate and use of Nirvana's music, which also led to numerous public insults and accusations.  However, the pair reconciled earlier this year when Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

"It was a nice excuse to finally be friends," Grohl tells Us Weekly.  "It was one of the greatest nights of my life.  Wish Kurt could've been there!"

Grohl and Love hugged on stage during the induction ceremony held in April at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The ceremony also featured Grohl playing a few Nirvana songs with bassist Krist Novoselic and current Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear.  The trio were joined by guest vocalists Joan Jett, Lorde, Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth and Annie Clark of St. Vincent.
