Eddie Vedder Auctioning Guitar He Used During The Who Tribute Show

Image Courtesy of Jeffrey R. Staab/CBSEddie Vedder recently performed at a star-studded tribute to the legendary band The Who to support the Teenage Cancer Trust. Now, the Pearl Jam frontman is auctioning off the Gibson SG guitar he played during that concert. Both Vedder and The Who's Roger Daltrey have signed the guitar.

The auction will end on December 22. All proceeds from the sale of the guitar will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Vedder used the guitar to play The Who's classic song "Won't Get Fooled Again." The Who tribute show also featured performances from Oasis' Liam Gallagher, Rush's Geddy Lee, Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson and Brody Dalle.

Teenage Cancer Trust, of which Daltrey has been a patron for more than 10 years, raises money to take care of the special needs of teenage and young adult cancer patients by providing special hospital units designed with them in mind. The charity also backs research, support services and education related to the disease.
