That long-in-the-works Faith No More album finally has a title and a release date. The new record, the band's first in 18 years, will be titled Sol Invictus and will be released May 19.
FNM's last album was 1997's Album of the Year. The band broke up a year later before reuniting to tour again in 2009. Sol Invictus will be FNM's first album since the breakup.
"Superhero," the second single from Sol Invictus, will be released as a limited-edition seven-inch vinyl record March 17, and digitally March 31. The first single is the tastefully-titled "Motherf**ker," which is available now.
In support of Sol Invictus, FNM will embark on their first North American tour since 2010. The tour will begin April 15 in Vancouver and wrap up May 15 in Philadelphia, days before the new album's release.
