Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump and his wife, Elisa Yao, are new parents. Yao gave birth to the couple's first child, a son named Declan, on Wednesday.
Ellen Degeneres was the first to reveal the news. "It’s a boy! Actually, it’s a @FallOutBoy. Congrats @PatrickStump and welcome baby Declan! See y’all in 2 weeks!" the talk show host tweeted.
The band then tweeted, "Welcome to the world the newest Fall Out Baby Declan."
What inspired the baby's name? Well, it's worth noting that rocker Elvis Costello, who Stump calls his biggest musical influence, was born "Declan Patrick MacManus."
Stump and Fall Out Boy just recently gave birth to a new FOB song, "Immortals," which is featured on the Big Hero 6 soundtrack.
