Remember how Slipknot's three-day festival Knotfest was going to smell like burning camel dung? That may not be the case anymore.
TMZ reports that county fire officials in San Bernardino, California -- the location of the festival -- will not allow Knotfest to achieve its desired smell. Though they said the odor could be considered a public nuisance, officials are more concerned about what was going to be burned along with the camel dung: oil. Burning oil is illegal in California.
A rep for Knotfest told TMZ that they are looking for a "safer" alternative. Either way, Knotfest will be held from October 24-26. Volbeat, Five Finger Death Punch, Danzig, Anthrax, Black Label Society and more will also play the festival.
