Image Coutersy of 4ADDoolittle, Pixies' acclaimed sophomore album, is getting the 25th anniversary treatment. 4AD is releasing Pixies: Doolittle 25 December 2 on CD, vinyl and digital formats.
In addition to the original album, the 25th anniversary special edition will include all of the Doolittle B-sides, the songs the band recorded for BBC Radio's Peel sessions and the album in complete demo form plus three bonus tracks. All in all, the Pixies: Doolittle 25 package includes 50 tracks.
Originally released in 1989, Doolittle features the hit singles "Here Comes Your Man" and "Monkey Gone to Heaven." The album was certified gold in 1995.
