Florence + the Machine frontwoman Florence Welch broke her foot jumping off the stage during her set at last weekend's Coachella festival, the singer announced.
"I'm so sorry to say, that after what was one of my favorite shows ever at Coachella, I have discovered I have broken my foot from leaping off the stage," Welch writes on Facebook.
Fortunately for Florence fans, none of The Machine's concerts have been canceled, although Welch does say that the shows will be "somewhat stripped back."
"I'm so sorry, I'm pretty devastated, but I still want to do the shows," she says. "I understand this is not what you were expecting, but I hope its just as enjoyable. I'm going to try and make it super special for you."
Florence + the Machine's next show is in Los Angeles on April 15. The band then will play the second weekend at Coachella, followed by appearances the Governors Ball and Bonnaroo festivals. The group is touring in support of their forthcoming album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, which will be released on June 2.
