The show must go on, and nobody exemplifies that right now better than Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.
At the band's show Friday in Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden, Grohl took a spill and could be heard in a fan-shot video posted to YouTube saying that he thought he'd broken his leg. But on-site medical staff "patched him up temporarily," according to a statement, and Grohl, amazingly, managed to complete the show.
After the show, Grohl went to the hospital, and it was confirmed that he'd sustained at least one fracture. The evidence was posted on Twitter: an image of an X-ray showing Grohl's fractured leg. "Thank you Gothenburg. That was amazing," the caption read.
Because the extent of Grohl's injuries are still being determined, the band has been forced to cancel their Sunday show at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands, as well as their June 16 show in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
