Foo Fighters Perform at 600-Capacity San Diego Club with Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Aloe Blacc

Image Courtesy of Ringo StarrThis is not a joke. Thursday night, Foo Fighters really did take the stage alongside pop star Lady Gaga, legendary vocalist Tony Bennett and R&B singer Aloe Blacc at a tiny club in San Diego, California.

According to UTSanDiego, the private concert at the Belly Up club was thrown by William Morris Endeavor, a top talent agency which handles all those artists.  People only found out about the unique gig when the names of the artists were placed on the club's marquee Thursday night before the show.

After the show, Lady Gaga Instagrammed a rave review of Foo Fighters' set, writing of the group and frontman Dave Grohl, "The Foo Fighters were so incredible tonight, monster fury rock n' roll, 20 years of locked precision. Can't stop screaming, almost took my pants off. Dave playing guitar with an empty shot of Jägermeister. Glass to the strings."

If you missed this last-minute show -- and chances are, you did -- you can try to catch the Foo again this Saturday at the much more spacious Forum in Los Angeles. They'll return to North America in July for a full-scale tour in support of their latest album, Sonic Highways.
