Image Courtesy of Atlantic RecordsHalestorm may be wrapping up the final dates of their fall tour on December 13, but singer Lzzy Hale says the band will hit the ground running in 2015.
The band is getting ready to release its third album in 2015, with Nashville producer Jay Joyce helming the project.
"We just finished the record and we literally trying to decide on the first single as we speak. We are excited for everybody to hear it," Hale tells Digital Journal. "Jay Joyce is a complete mad scientist and he is just a rocker dude."
The group gave fans a small taste of the record at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg last month with a new song, "I Like It Heavy," video of which was posted to YouTube by a fan.
Meanwhile, the band is set to hit the road with country star Eric Church on January 8, a pairing which may seem odd but which Hale says makes sense.
"His entire camp is so nice and they are spoiling us a little bit," she says. "It's very cool. A lot of Eric's fan-base is very rock and roll as it is."
