Image Courtesy of ABC/Richard HarbaughImagine Dragons will be the harbingers of rock among the performers at the 2014 American Music Awards. The band will be playing their new single, "I Bet My Life," the first new music off the Las Vegas quartet's upcoming second album.
The performance will add to an already big night for Imagine Dragons at the AMAs. In addition to earning a nomination in the award show's top category, Artist of the Year, the band has also been nominated for the Favorite Artist -- Alternative Rock and Favorite Band, Duo or Group -- Pop/Rock categories.
Imagine Dragons went home with the Favorite Artist -- Alternative Rock award at the 2013 AMAs, meaning they could make it two years in a row with a win this year. The other nominees for the category this year are Lorde and Bastille.
Other performers at the 2014 AMAs include Lorde, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and many more.
