Jack White Performs “That Black Bat Licorice” on “The Tonight Show”

Image Courtesy of Douglas Gorenstein/NBCJack White closed out the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon's week long stint in Los Angeles Thursday night. White and his band delivered a blistering rendition of the Lazaretto track, "That Black Bat Licorice."

White has a busy weekend in Los Angeles ahead of him. Friday night, he'll attend the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year gala, along with Beck and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. The event will honor the legendary Bob Dylan. White has plenty of experience with Dylan's music: he covered "One More Cup of Coffee" for The White Stripes' debut album, and "New Pony" for The Dead Weather's Horehound.

Then Sunday, of course, is the Grammy Awards. Lazaretto, White's second solo album, is nominated for Best Alternative Music Album, and the title track is up for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance. White has won Best Alternative Music Album three times previously with The White Stripes, for Elephant, Get Behind Me Satan and Icky Thump.
