The community in Stevensville, Montana wants to build a skate park, and Jeff Ament is here to help. The Pearl Jam bassist, who was born in Montana, has donated a signed skateboard to be auctioned in support of building the park.
"We are a small rural community in Montana," writes the Stevensville Skatepark Committee on their GoFundMe page. "This will help many in our community with a place to create bonds, build confidence and gain life lessons."
The skateboard features autographs from all five Pearl Jam members and is covered in the band's stickers. Bidding is now open and will run through July 5 on eBay.
Pearl Jam has been relatively quiet this year, but they'll resume touring again in November with an international trek making stops in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
