Linkin Park Members Contribute Song “Devil’s Drop” to Bandmate’s Directorial Debut

Image Courtesy of Brandon CoxLinkin Park turntablist and sampler Joe Hahn made his directorial debut last year with Mall. A few of Hahn's LP bandmates, including frontman Chester Bennington, bassist Dave Farrell and vocalist/guitarist Mike Shinoda, contributed to the Mall soundtrack. On Tuesday, the band released "Devil's Drop," a quiet, serene cut from thatsoundtrack, via their YouTube page.

Mall tells the story of a mall shooting in a suburban town. The film, starring Vincent D’Onofrio and Gina Gershon, made its theatrical debut in October 2014 and is now available on DVD. D’Onofrio also produced and co-wrote Mall.

Linkin Park's latest official album is 2014's The Hunting Party, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. Along with Rise Against and Of Mice & Men, LP will be touring in support of The Hunting Party January 15 in Orlando, Florida through February 14 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
