Rhino RecordsDo you still miss Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill days? Get ready to be transported back to the mid-90s with this previously unreleased Alanis track called “Superstar Wonderful Weirdos.”
The song, which premiered on Billboard, will be included on a special 20th anniversary collector’s edition of the 1995 album set to be released on October 30.
"Having been labeled many things -- weird, intense, intimidating, scary, psychobabbler, and my favorite: 'too much,' I wanted to write a song about having all these qualities within me to contend with, in a world that loves to reduce and categorize," Alanis tells Billboard of the tune.
Jagged Little Pill: Collector’s Edition will include remastered audio of the original album plus an entire disc of 10 unreleased demos from that time period handpicked by Alanis herself. It also will feature a previously unreleased concert recorded at London’s Subterranea in 1995 as well as 2005's Jagged Little Pill Acoustic.
