Ethan Miller/Getty Images via ABCLorde is in charge of the soundtrack for the upcoming Hunger Games movie Mockingjay -- Part 1, and she's just revealed one of the songs that will be featured on it, in addition to her own single "Yellow Flicker Beat." She's on the new song two, but so are two other artists who couldn't be more different.
The song is called "This Is Not a Game," and it features Lorde delivering a spoken word performance with R&B star Miguel, backed up by pioneering British electronic artists The Chemical Brothers. The song premiered on British radio on Monday.
On the track, Miguel sings in a soulful voice over a clattering, jittery electronic music bed, and the chorus hinges on the phrase, "You're talkin' 'bout a revolution," which Lorde then answers by speaking the words "There it is." Miguel also sings about "patience and determination/staring at a gladiator."
Mockingjay -- Part 1 arrives in theaters November 21. The soundtrack is set to come out November 17, according to Amazon.
Lorde tweeted that the song is "the first taste" of the soundtrack.
