Metallica, Green Day, Faith No More, Imagine Dragons & More Releasing Discs for Record Store Day Black Friday

Image Courtesy of RecordStoreDay.comIn addition to waking up obscenely early to get a deal on a new TV, Black Friday also means exclusive and limited edition releases at your local independent record store. This year's Record Store Day "Black Friday" lineup includes new vinyl from Metallica, Green DayFaith No More, Imagine Dragons and many, many more.

Metallica will release the 12-inch "Lords of Summer" single, featuring a studio and live version of the new song's "first pass."

Green Day's contribution is Tune in Tokyo, a 2001 live recording from Japan printed on transparent blue vinyl.

Faith No More will release their first new music in 17 years on Record Store Day "Black Friday," a track entitled "Motherf**ker," in the form of a seven-inch single.

Imagine Dragons' offering will be 12-inch picture disc of their hit debut album, Night Visions.

That's not all, folks -- hard rockers Korn and Mastodon will also be releasing new vinyl on Black Friday, as will current alternative darlings  Hozier, Bleachers and St. Vincent, plus indie-rock mainstays The Flaming Lips and The Decemberists. Record Store Day "Black Friday" will be held on November 28 in independent record stores throughout the country.
